The dogs of Odin -- At the pure, grass root level, if you ignore all the technology that goes into the motorcycle, this is still a beautiful, retro back to basics, hand crafted piece of machinery, that can truly compete against IC engine counterparts on its own merits in specifications, freedom, and sensation.
Yet this design has a dramatic reduction of components, what makes it almost maintenance free. There is no hope in expecting any other electric motorcycle competitor with such capabilities.
The styling is based around the 30’s art deco form through functionality. The components are designed to be hand machined and crafted, and welded with attention to even smallest details. No expense is spared using Ti-Alloy components for the motorcycle’s signature components, while the functional components are based on high specification brand components opening it to the vast after market. This bike is for people who want to build on what they own.
This isn’t just a pretty face. The 135 bhp motor gives out maximum flat torque through a whole range range. As a result, accelerations and top speeds are figures that are way out of the charts, comparable by only the highest IC engine specs. It is the pure freedom, power, and image, that only some can handle.
The motor is a maintenance free water cooled 135bhp DC motor which has a working efficiency of 85-95% (compared to 40-50% of an IC engine) and maintains a constant torque through 0-8000 rpm with of course, zero emissions. New technology nano Li-Ion batteries are used to provide charge with superior power density, and at the same time with longer life of normal Li-Ion ones of 20 years*. This gives the Javelin a range of 150 km with a single charge that makes it comparable to the autonomy of traditional motorcycles. Full charge is achieved within 10 minutes, making the charging process similar to refuel a normal engine. The future is in technology, and that technology is green!
