The design process is developed for a faster design cycle from concept design to workshop level drawings to rapid prototyping.

The methodology is the development of a “Single Integrated Platform” for concurrent engineering to be achieved by engineers of most fields and offshore collaborators / clients which leads to a significant amount of time reduction due to that integration. This includes the use of CAD assemblies for styling, packaging, ergonomics, verification, and validation of the vehicle.

Virtual prototyping, development and final production

Structural, sound, thermal, aerodynamic and vehicle dynamics simulation of the assembly at various levels and stages, while still keeping the integration of the assembly intact. These key factors lead to a Right First Time design concept that reduces the physical material cost of prototyping. The final step ultimately, the creation of workshop level drawings and the development of CNC machining code.

Ayton Willow engineers will not only work as consultants on the design and prototyping stages, but can be totally immersed within the motor company client for the project period to work hands-on on the development at whichever stage the client incorporates us. This would include training and guidance for the in-house engineers and technicians. Ayton Willow will provide for all the technical know how and current state of art processes, analysis, design and manufacturing requirements.
