Separate from the running of the Motor company, being led by doctorate engineers, The Ayton Willow team puts emphasis on engineering design, research and development and engineering outsourcing to three different types of clients:
1. Automotive manufacturers and other smaller niche manufacturers in Europe and Asia for outsourcing concept design, automobile development, BIW, Crash Analysis, simulation, static and dynamic FEA and engineering seen in the design / prototyping section.
Outsourcing of general computer aided engineering, analysis and simulation work which can be seen in engineering outsourcing. which covers CAD, CAE, meshing and FEA analysis all the way to creating manufacturing drawings.
Also important is the outsourcing of Manufacturing facilities for mass and mass customization using the facilities of our sister companies and consortium of manufacturers in Manufacturing outsourcing.
2. Research oriented work carried out at The European design office in collaboration with Universities and research institutes as seen in research development.
3. Finally development of outsourcing opportunities for consortium of Niche car companies, garage manufacturers, and old traditional brands to give advantage to pool resources so to revive the traditions of niche manufacturing.
The tradition of constant change stands well as a tradition of its own. That is one of the principles we follow when giving the art of traditional coach building, a technological ideology. The design process is developed for a faster design cycle from concept design to workshop level drawings to rapid prototyping.
The aim of manufacturing outsourcing is to maintain those designs for manufacturing techniques to deliver that experience not only for a complete vehicle, but also for outsourcing our engineering skills to collaborate on component level projects. This would include collaborating on product development with the clients including research design and development, analysis and prototyping and production, or just outsourcing manufacturing to specifications from Clients.
One of the goals of Ayton Willow is to revive the tradition of niche, exotic and super car manufacturers. Most of the names of coach-builders that made the sports cars and custom cars from the 40s right up to the 90s have been lost to the history books or simply forgotten.
